Yamaha is donating and delivering 24 timpani and five marching french horns valued at $104,499 to Dayton Public Schools.

INFO:
Yamaha Corporation of America will present their donation of musical instruments to the band directors and band students of Dunbar Early College High School and then travel to Thurgood Marshall STEM High School to do the same. The district restored its instrumental program in fall 2017, and these instruments will contribute to its growth by benefiting students at Dunbar, Thurgood, Meadowdale and Belmont high schools. DPS officials will also be in attendance. 
 
The donation includes two dozen timpani and five marching french horns.
