Spring Break Begins

catapultNews

Hello, this is Elizabeth Lolli, Superintendent of the Dayton Public Schools.

It is my hope that everyone is staying safe and healthy. This week is Spring Break. There will not be online lessons for students this week. Lessons will resume on Monday, March 30th, at DPSOnlineLearning.com.

There are many fun things you can do at home during Spring Break, and I would like to share a few ideas with you. You might like to spend time exercising by doing jumping jacks, running in place or taking a walk outside. Or, perhaps you would like to spend time drawing or doing a puzzle.

Spring Break is also a great time to read a book. There are more than 800 free e-books that students can download and read on any device at the MyDestiny eBook Library. RAZ Kids also has a large selection of e-books that students can read or listen to.

Students, if you have a DPS email, please make sure to check your Gmail account every day.

Make sure to continue MindPlay, Aleks and RedBird at home so your reading and math skills will stay tuned up!

Thank you,
Elizabeth J. Lolli, Ph.D.
Superintendent
