Our 2018-2019 Report Card Results

catapultNews

The Dayton Public Schools have been working tirelessly to change for the better over the last year – and those efforts have truly made a difference.

On Thursday, the Ohio Department of Education released the 2018-2019 School Report Cards, and DPS earned an overall grade of “D.” DPS also earned a “C” in gap closing and an “A” in value-added for gifted education. This improvement is the first step toward becoming a high-performing school system.

We would like to thank the teachers, staff, parents and students for their hard work over the last year. However, there is much work to be done. We will continue our efforts to improve student achievement this year.

The Dayton Way, which prioritizes improved curriculum, instruction, professionalism, engagement, customer service and culture will continue to guide the district. With everyone’s help, DPS Rises.
