The Edison PreK-6 family is grieving the loss of one of our kindergartners. Little Genae Taste was hit by a car and killed last Friday evening. She was six years old.

Today, counselors have come to our building to speak with students and staff — to answer any questions anyone might have. Genae’s little classmates have not quite grasped what has happened, but we have assistance to give them any emotional support they might need now, or in the near future.

Our Edison building family is deeply saddened by this tragedy and we offer condolences, prayers and support for Genae’s family.
