                                          1,200 student scholars to be recognized for academic achievement
 
WHO: Superintendent Rhonda A. Corr, Ed.S.
            Dayton Board of Education
            Students in grades one through 12 at Dayton Public Schools
                
WHAT: Approximately 1,200 students will be recognized for their exemplary grades earned during the 2016-17 school year. Each child’s name will be announced and they will be presented a certificate of achievement.

WHEN: Refreshments 6:30 p.m.-7 p.m.
              Recognition Program at 7 p.m.
             Wednesday, May 3, 2017

WHERE:  Dayton Convention Center
                  22 East Fifth St. at Main St.

INFO: Students in grades one through 12 who achieved all As during at least one of the first three grading periods will be honored. High school student-athletes who achieved at least a 3.0 grade point average during the fall, winter or spring quarters will also be recognized. The program always draws a large crowd, so only immediate families are invited to attend. Light refreshments will be served and door prizes will be raffled. This is the 22nd year for the event.
