MIDDLE SCHOOL BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT RESULTS
We also hosted the middle school basketball tournament at Meadowdale High School.
7th grade girls: Wright Brothers defeated Stivers: 45-13
7th grade boys: Wogaman defeated Edwin Joel Brown: 47-23
8th grade girls: Edwin Joel Brown defeated Stivers:
8th grade boys: Wogaman defeated Edwin Joel Brown: 40-36
High School Boys Tournament
In our high school boys tournament we had five teams participate over the weekend and the results are as follows:
Ponitz was defeated by Badin: 54-33
Thurgood Marshall defeated Bellbrook: 78-48
Stivers defeated Houston: 58-43
Meadowdale defeated Tippecanoe: 45-44
Belmont was defeated by Butler: 60-56
Those teams winning in the first round will be playing int the second round of the sectional tournament this week.
- Thurgood Marshall will play Clinton Massie on Tuesday 2/26 at 7:30 – Trent Arena
- Stivers will play Lebanon Dixie on Wednesday 2/27 at 7:30 – Butler
- Meadowdale will play Springfield Northwestern on Thursday 2/28 at 6:00 – Springfield
Wrestling
We also have wrestlers participating in their sectional tournaments at various locations: Graham, Lehman Catholic and Centerville. Two wrestlers from Thurgood Marshall will be moving on to the district tournament:
