Special event recognizes exemplary performance and achievement

    Dayton Public Schools employees are hard-working, caring and dedicated to our students. The staff works tirelessly, day in and day out, to provide the best educational experience for every child. So, it is with much appreciation, that the district’s top achievers will gather for an Employee Recognition Reception on Tuesday, April 25, at the Dayton Art Institute, 456 Belmonte Park North. The reception begins at 4:30 p.m., followed by a recognition program at 5:45 p.m., to pay special tribute to the 2016-17 Dayton Public Schools Employees of the Year:

    Dayton Public Schools employees were nominated by their peers for the district’s top awards, with more than 25 entries received for a variety of staff positions. The nominations were evaluated by a panel of DPS staff from across the district. All the nomination entries cited their willingness to go above and beyond the call of duty to help our students and families. We are very proud to have great talent within our DPS family.
